Studio Pass Terms

Effective Date: September 9, 2026 · Last Updated: September 9, 2026 · Version 2026-09-09.1

These Studio Pass Terms apply when you join, manage, or use Studio Pass from MA Studios LLC, doing business as MA Music Studio and MA Music (“MA Music”). They supplement the MA Music Terms of Service, Privacy Policy, and Session Terms. They are a product schedule describing how Studio Pass works. They are not presented as attorney-reviewed legal advice.

If these Studio Pass Terms conflict with the general Terms of Service on Studio Pass reservations, storage bundled with Studio Pass, or Studio Pass billing, these more specific terms control for that subject.

1. What Studio Pass is

Studio Pass is recurring self-service access to MA Music Room B by reservation, plus included My Studio Pro while you are entitled.

Studio Pass is not unlimited staffed studio time. It does not automatically include an engineer for normal visits, ongoing Coaching, Mix Pass / Mix Time, Mix Development, or Recording engineer time. Those remain separately purchased.

2. Pricing and billing

Studio Pass has one benefit structure and two billing choices:

  • Month-to-month at $300/month.
  • A 12-month commitment at $250/month, billed monthly.

The 12-month choice is not $3,000 billed today. Both options bill monthly.

Turning off renewal does not remove access already paid for. Benefits continue through the paid-through date shown in your account. A failed future payment does not extend entitlement into an unpaid period.

Paid-through is the customer authority for Studio Pass access. A raw Stripe period field is not.

3. Enrollment

New-member enrollment may be open, waitlist, or closed. Existing eligible members keep reservation access regardless of new-member enrollment state. Billing-recovery members are offered restore/billing treatment, not the waitlist.

4. Reservations

Normal Studio Pass:

  • One ordinary active reservation at a time.
  • One guaranteed hour.
  • Availability follows the Room B resource schedule, including overnight hours when those hours are left open. This is not unrestricted 24/7 access.
  • Bookings may not extend beyond paid-through.
  • Starts follow implemented :00 / :30 availability.

Orientation is the included 90-minute first-use visit with Matt in Room B. You may join and reserve immediately. Until orientation is recorded complete, Studio Pass bookings route to orientation. Canceled, missed, or incomplete orientation does not complete orientation.

5. Continuation, confirmation, and attendance

During the final 10 minutes of a claimed ordinary hour, you may claim the next hour as a continuation when it is available and the schedule allows. Continuation is not guaranteed until claimed, does not apply to orientation, and cannot cross paid-through or a Room B closure.

Advance reservations require confirmation by the deadline saved on that reservation (launch default 60 minutes unless configured otherwise). Booking inside that window counts as confirmation. Confirmation is intent to use the reservation, not physical arrival. Check-in is separate. Late arrival does not move the guaranteed end. No-show grace is 15 minutes unless a different grace was saved.

There are no automatic no-show fees, strike counts, suspensions, or cooldowns. Serious or repeated misuse may be reviewed manually.

Released leftover time after a no-show is not a separate free reservation. Early access does not extend a later member’s guaranteed end.

6. Guests

Booking member plus one guest maximum (two people total). The guest may be a member or non-member. The booking member must remain present and is responsible for guest conduct. A guest receives no independent Studio Pass booking rights, My Studio Pro, storage, or other membership benefits merely by attending.

7. Room and equipment

Leave the room ready for the next member. Dispose of trash. Follow posted in-room guidance. Do not intentionally or recklessly damage equipment, rewire hardware without approval, change protected system settings, or install unauthorized software or plugins. Report problems. Respect hard-stop time.

Studio Pass uses a shared studio computer. You are responsible for the current sign-out, save, and upload procedure. MA Music does not promise that every local artifact is automatically destroyed.

MA Music does not guarantee uninterrupted availability, a specific equipment list, unrestricted overnight access, backups of customer files, or automatic refunds.

8. My Studio Pro and storage

Studio Pass includes My Studio Pro and 50 GB of account-wide storage while entitled. Free and Trial keep their existing allowances. Free users do not receive 50 GB.

When Studio Pass-provided Pro ends:

  • If usage fits a valid Free or Trial allowance, you remain a normal usable Free or Trial account.
  • If usage exceeds that fallback and no other qualifying storage entitlement exists, existing content enters a 90-day retention window. Storage-increasing writes are blocked. Download, export, and deletion remain available. Cleanup re-checks entitlement.

Normal delete uses 7-day recoverable Trash that still counts toward quota. Replace Current Archive permanently retires superseded archive bytes after a successful verified replacement; the old archive is not left in 7-day Trash. Upload as New Archive keeps both archives, both counting toward quota, with no replacement headroom.

Keep My Studio records intent to buy standalone My Studio Pro at the eligibility boundary and does not itself create a subscription or duplicate Pro billing while Studio Pass still provides Pro.

9. Communications

Reservation confirmation, reminder, confirmation-deadline, and related operational messages are part of using Studio Pass.

10. Acceptance

Joining Studio Pass requires an explicit, unchecked acknowledgment of these terms and the related policies linked at checkout.
